Cookie Exchange Wrap-Up
Are you in need a good Cookie Recipe (or a few dozen good cookie recipes)?
Well no worries, bloggers from around the country have searched and searched to find their best cookie for the year in order to send out yummy cookies to other bloggers around the country! I got over my own cookie baking issues and made some absolutely delicious Molasses Snickerdoodles. Check out the full (two page) wrap-up of all of the Cookies here at “Love and Olive Oil” and here at The Little Kitchen!
Those delicious cookies which I made got sent to three talented ladies…
- Jillian Bracken of Goodbye Fat, Hello Jill
- Jenni Ward of The Gingered Whisk
- Jennifer Drummond of Peanut Butter and Peppers
In addition to sending out my cookies around the country we were blessed with cookies from around the country. Shortly after receiving our first dozen cookies, Rich realized that he was going to make out like a bandit thanks to this cookie exchange. You see, I am trying to not gain a million pounds (especially now that the dress shop called and said my wedding dress is waiting & ready for me to come in for my first fitting). Interested in knowing more about these cookies cookies which I am trying to avoid eating all of? Here you go….
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
from Liz at Yum at First Bite
from April at Sutch a Delight
White Chocolate Orange Cranberry Cookies
from Shelby at Grumpy’s Honeybunch
Thank you Ladies for your taste-testing leading up to this exchange as well as the tasty treats – Rich & I (mostly Rich) have really been enjoying these! Liz: you came first and really got us excited! April: we loved the packaging and adore your homemade vanilla!! Shelby: these may be our favorite cookies, ones that will be repeated at some point this season!
Two Years Ago – the first time that I made Chicken Pot Pie (and liked it)!
